Kistler is proudly California Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

We are proudly a Californian effort. Our goal for nearly fifty years has been to lessen our imprint on every vineyard we work with and the wines that result.   Old world reverence applied to new world sites.

This is a profoundly difficult process, as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the varietals most easily marked by heavy-handed farming and the hand of the maker.

Located at the southern end of the Russian River Valley near where the river heads west to the sea.

All visits are by appointment Tuesday-Saturday and for guests 21 and older only.

FIVE-WINE TASTING $175 per guest (for parties of 1–12)
Your host will guide you through a tasting of four single-vineyard Chardonnays and one Pinot Noir from our library, sharing insights into our winemaking techniques, vineyard sites, and the unique characteristics of each wine.

SEVEN-WINE TASTING $195 per guest (for parties of 1–12)
Dive deeper into our portfolio with a guided tasting of five single-vineyard Chardonnays and two Pinot Noirs from our library. Your host will provide a comprehensive overview of our history, winemaking philosophy, and the distinct qualities of our wines.

SEVEN SINGLE-VINEYARD CHARDONNAY TASTING $195 per guest (for parties of 1–12)
Explore the depth and complexity of our single-vineyard Chardonnays through a tasting of seven selections from our library. Your host will share the stories behind the vineyards and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each bottle.

PATIO TASTING $150 per guest
A communal welcome and tour followed by a guided tasting on the barn patio. Your party will be seated at a private table while your host leads the group through four single vineyard Chardonnays and one Pinot Noir from our library. Relax and enjoy the outdoors in a comfortable, scenic setting.

PRIVATE RECEPTION TASTING FOR LARGE GROUPS $250 per guest (for parties of 12-40) 90 minutes
Whether you have a larger group interested in learning more about our wines or are looking to add an unforgettable winery experience to your special celebration, we offer a private reception-style tasting experience for groups of 12-40 guests. You’ll enjoy a selection of wines from our library in a private space in the vineyard reserved for your group. Taste through a five-wine flight of our single-vineyard wines served alongside a tasting menu of local offerings from some of our favorite artisanal chefs. Our hospitality team is on hand to assist with any questions or requests you might have.

Please note that seating at the barn patio is limited to parties of up to four guests, including non-drinking guests.
